The machine shop is integrated with our advanced computer-aided facilities. Not only are we able to download programs directly to the machine tool controllers, but we can also "drip-feed" machining instructions from host PC's. This allows us to machine complex forms or produce in-house tooling and patterns.
Inspection of machined parts and the associated testing, is an integral part of our excellent quality management systems. We are approved by Lloyd's Register of Quality Assurance and work to the industry's highest standards.
After parts have been machined and inspected, this is not always the end of the manufacturing process. Parts often require further operations or special surface treatments - this can include precision wire erosion or surface plating. When additional work is required, we can manage the whole project on a single order, removing the need for multiple purchase orders against a single part. We aim to supply, not just a machined casting, but a high quality finished component.
