Our comprehensive analytical and physical test facilities give us the ability to maintain the chemical and mechanical properties of our alloys. Material testing and non-destructive testing is fully traceable for all our castings and test pieces, ensuring that product integrity is always upheld. Our capabilities include the following:
- tensile, hardness and impact testing
- corrosion testing
- micro and macro examination
- metallography
- phase examination and ferrite counting
- magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection
- Xray and ultrasonic examination
- advanced spectrometry
- hydrostatic pressure and vacuum testing
In addition to these facilities, we also physically inspect castings and machined components using our coordinate measuring machine (CMM). Dimensional reports for both trials and production batches are available with full certification for the materials. Independent witnessing of any inspection process can be arranged, in fact, any special requirements can be integrated into a single purchase order.
